The Alliance of Professional Health Advocates, one of the DiagKNOWsis family of services and websites,  is committed to respecting the privacy and security of our users. Our goal is to provide you with the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you.

To demonstrate our commitment to your privacy, we have prepared this statement disclosing our privacy practices. Here you will learn what personal identifying information of yours is collected, how and when we might use your information, how we protect your information, who has access to your information, and how you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

We will not disclose your information to any person or organization outside the Alliance and its parent company, DiagKNOWsis Media, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

When you sign up for membership, we will ask you for some personal information.  Explanations for the use of this information depend on the membership you choose, and are listed with each membership application form.

Please note that none of the membership forms are available on this website; they are available instead at www.myAPHA.org

If you provide us with your email address, you are giving us permission to contact you when there is information to share through our newsletter or other notices.  On each newsletter or notice you will find a link to unsubscribe (“opt-out”) from receiving notices from us. Once you submit that request, we will remove you from our master list and delete your data.

If you prefer not to wait for us to remove your email address, you may make that request by writing to us at:  admin@aphadvocates.org

How We Protect Your Information

Your information is not stored on any publicly accessible servers and therefore cannot be accessed by anyone who would use it for reasons other than your interest in the information we provide to you to support your membership.

Who Has Access to the Information?

In addition to the use of your contact information described above, your information will be shared only as required by law, in a matter of public safety or policy, or as needed in connection with the transfer of business assets.

In compliance with U.S. law, AdvoConnection does not share information with any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes. It does share with its parent, DiagKNOWsis Media and its affiliated businesses.
